Emotional Moment as BJP’s Sanjeev Baliyan Loses Muzaffarnagar Seat by 45 Votes

Muzaffarnagar, 4th June 2024: As the Lok Sabha 2024 election results unfold nationwide, from Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar, Harendra Singh Malik emerged victorious, representing the Samajwadi Party (SP) and defeating the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sanjeev Baliyan.

At the vote-counting centre, Baliyan was visibly moved by his narrow loss, shedding tears along with his supporters. Losing by a margin of just 45 votes, Baliyan’s emotional response was understandable.

Following the conclusion of vote counting in the Sardhana Vidhan Sabha constituency, the final results were revealed, showing Malik securing 80,826 votes while Baliyan trailed closely with 80,781 votes. The slim margin of victory was only 45 votes. The third position was claimed by Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) Dara Singh Prajapati, garnering 37,756 votes.
