Fadnavis had said on Friday that the neighbouring state is not Pakistan. He also accused the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government of Maharashtra of corruption.
Fadnavis said – Gujarat is not Pakistan
Senior BJP leader had said, ‘Gujarat is not Pakistan. This is our brother. It is a healthy competition. We want to overtake Karnataka. The policy of the opposition was to stop everything and with such a policy Maharashtra could not overtake Gujarat. Fadnavis said that he had personally met Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal as soon as he became the deputy chief minister at the end of June. Maharashtra had put forward the same proposal to the company as Gujarat, but they were told that the decision to set up a semiconductor unit in Gujarat had reached the final stage.
