UPA MLAs’ Write Letter To Governor Regarding The Assembly Membership Of Hemant Soren
Ranchi, 1st September 2022: It has still not been cleared whether Hemant Soren’s assembly membership end or if will he continue. In Jharkhand, the MLAs of the ruling Grand Alliance have written a letter to the Governor demanding answers regarding the same.
On Thursday, 10 senior leaders and MLAs of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) met the Governor and handed over letters to him.
During the meeting, the leaders told the Governor that there is political instability due to the deliberate leaking of information from the Raj Bhavan.
The MLAs told the Governor that the news of the disqualification of Chief Minister Hemant Soren is being run by many national and local news channels which are leading to rumours being. The MLAs also requested the Governor to disclose the letter received from the Election Commission.
