
To keep script alive is essential to preserve Indian Culture – Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
Mumbai, 28th January 2025: Alphabets and scripts are the carriers of civilization and culture. Indian culture is ancient, and preserving the script, which is an inseparable part of this culture, is essential. Otherwise, we will forget our history, asserted Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
The Chief Minister released the calligraphy book Akshar Bharati, written by calligrapher Achyut Palav, at the Jahangir Art Gallery.
The book release event was also attended by Minister of State Ashish Jaiswal, Director of Navneet Publications Anil Gala, and Padma Shri awardee Achyut Palav.
The Chief Minister said that Padma Shri Achyut Palav has taken the art of calligraphy to everywhere and is involving many people in this art form. He emphasized that If any person wants to get good marks in any subject, his handwriting must be good. “A vast treasure of knowledge also reaches us through these alphabets,” he added. The Chief Minister also congratulated Palav for receiving the Padma Shri award.
