Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra Begins In Burhanpur District Of Madhya Pradesh
Burhanpur, 23rd November 2022: The Bharat Jodo Yatra of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi started in Bodarli village in the Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The Yatra will take a tea break at Dariapur.
Before starting the journey, Rahul Gandhi thanked everyone from the dais at the Bodarli bus stand for their love and affection. At the beginning of the yatra, the opposition had said that it is not possible to measure such a big country on foot. Targeting the BJP, he said they create fear and violence among the people.
The fear of unemployment is being spread among the youth by not giving work to the labourers under MNREGA and not giving the right price to the farmers for their produce. He called a five-year-old child from the stage and asked him what he wanted to be. The child said he wants to be a doctor when he grows up. Rahul Gandhi said that the child knows what he wants to become, but the present situation of the country is such that he will not be able to become a doctor even after working hard. Rahul Gandhi called a lady, Reena Pawar, and asked her what was the price of a gas cylinder in the UPA government. The lady answered with Rs 400. He asked what the price is now, and the lady said Rs 1,200. On this, Rahul asked to whom all this money was going to.
Party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will also come to Burhanpur to attend the yatra. On November 24-25, she will accompany Rahul Gandhi. All the MLAs, including former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, state in-charge Jai Prakash Aggarwal, and Chhindwara MP Nakul Nath, are participating.
Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole handed the national flag to State Congress President Kamal Nath. He said that Madhya Pradesh is ahead in hospitality. “I hope the visit to Madhya Pradesh will be historic,” he said.
Many people are participating in Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started in Bodarli. There is enthusiasm among the workers, and they are repeatedly coming forward to walk with him, but due to security reasons, only limited people are reaching him.
Workers are standing everywhere along the way and saying welcome to Madhya Pradesh. Slogans are also being raised during the yatra, leaving hatred to join together.
