The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which began on 7th September last year from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu, will end on 30th January with Rahul Gandhi unfurling the tricolour in Srinagar where he continues to face threats from terrorist organisations.
In a press conference on Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi said that there was no lapse in his security. Rahul said, “There was no lapse in my security. All I can see is that there was a person who wanted to meet me, wanted to hug me. Don’t know why you are calling it a security flaw. There is a lot of enthusiasm for the Bharat Jodo Yatra and it happens at such a time. This is a common thing.” Rahul Gandhi said that the person was investigated by the security personnel. “He was just excited to meet me…I am opening a shop of love in the market of hatred,” he said.
