Now questions about a by-election for the vacant seat of MP in Pune have been raised.

According to legal expert Ulhas Bapat, by-elections may be held for the vacant seat of MP in Pune. According to section 151 A of the Representation of People Act, by-elections can be held again in Pune.

According to 151 A of the Representation of People Act, 1951, if the term of one year remains, an election has to be held. Lok Sabha Election 2024 will be held in April and May. It’s been more than a year now that March is underway. So this election has to be held within six months, Legal expert Ulhas Bapat explained.

Lok Sabha elections will be held just like the Vidhan Sabha elections. There is no difference between the two rules.

The names of Sanjay Kakade, Anil Shirole, Swarda Kelkar, and Muralidhar Mohal are in discussion in political circles as the prospective candidate for Pune Lok Sabha seat.
