Pune: Supriya Sule Criticizes Atal Setu Execution: ‘Poorly Executed, Rushed Projects Worth Crores’

Pune, 23rd June 2024: Pune, 23rd June 2024: MP Supriya Sule visited the Pune Party Office on Saturday after winning the Baramati Lok Sabha elections. Maharashtra State President of the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Jayant Patil, and City President Prashant Jagtap were present. During the visit, Supriya Sule raised major questions to the Mahayuti government regarding significant infrastructural projects in Maharashtra.

While speaking to the media, Supriya Sule said, “The work on Atal Setu has been executed poorly. This government rushed projects worth crores, and this is the result. All works like these done by this government should be investigated. In the state, question papers were leaked, farmers were cheated, the unemployed are not getting jobs, and there are assaults on women. Is there anything this government is doing well? Parents should come out onto the streets for free education for girls and protest. I will join them. The government announced free education for girls before the elections, but nothing happened afterwards. All parents had to pay fees.”

Supriya Sule concluded, “The caste struggles in the state are due to this government. The Centre didn’t conduct any census, and that’s why we don’t have the numbers. On what basis do they announce reservations then? Constitutional amendments are under the jurisdiction of the Centre. Earlier, the government belonged to them. Now, even though their numbers are reduced, they are still in power. But they don’t make repairs because they want to spark conflicts.”
