Pune: Shivraj Singh Chouhan Calls for Striving Towards ‘Ram Rajya’ at Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad
Pune, 12th January 2024: Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and BJP MLA Shivraj Singh Chouhan emphasized the need to strive and work hard to bring about ‘Ram Rajya’ during his address at the valedictory ceremony of the 13th edition of Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad, organized at MIT World Peace University. Chouhan acknowledged the realization of the Ram Mandir and urged continued efforts towards the broader vision of ‘Ram Rajya.’
Speaking as the chief guest, Chouhan reflected on his role beyond being the Chief Minister, expressing his commitment to contributing to politics with a focus on women empowerment, providing free quality education for students, and environmental conservation.
The event witnessed the presence of Special Guest of Honor, Pujya Dr. Gnanvatsal Swami, Life Coach & Eminent Speaker of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, and Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan, President of the Loksatta Movement. UNESCO Chair Holder Revered Prof Dr. Vishwanath D Karad, Founder President MIT WPU, presided over the function. Scientist and educationalist Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, MIT WPU Executive President, and MIT SOG Founder Rahul V. Karad, along with other dignitaries, attended the session.
Chouhan encouraged students to engage in politics for the larger benefit of society, emphasizing that politics should be viewed as a noble endeavor focused on transforming the future positively. Dr. Narayan shared insights into the noble aspects of politics, highlighting the need to create conducive conditions for bringing young talent into politics through ethical means.
Dr. Gnanvatsal Swami expressed optimism about India’s destiny as a Vishwaguru, urging students to shoulder their responsibilities and work together towards the nation’s development. Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad emphasized the importance of Bharatiya Culture, Tradition, and Philosophy, encouraging students to learn and propagate these values globally.
Rahul V. Karad advocated for the establishment of a school of governance by the government to train and build capacities for the youth and future leaders of India. Student leaders Kaushal Sahu (Madhya Pradesh) and Bhartendu (Rajasthan) delivered inspirational speeches, while motivational speaker Sanjay Upadhye addressed the gathering. Dr. Gautam Bapat served as the compere, and Dr. R. M. Chitnis, Vice Chancellor, MIT WPU, welcomed the guests, with Prof. Dr. Milind Pande, Pro-Vice Chancellor, MIT WPU, expressing the vote of thanks.
