Pune: Maharashtra State Board Warns Against False SSC, HSC Exam Date Information
Pune, 17th October 2024: A post is currently viral on social media regarding the dates for the 10th and 12th exams conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education. The post claims that the exams will be held in February and March 2025, and exact dates have also been mentioned for the ongoing academic year. However, the State Board has clarified that these are just rumours, putting students and parents at ease.
According to a circular from the Maharashtra State Board, objections and instructions were invited concerning the exam dates for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) written exams. However, no official decision has been made yet. Despite this, some posts on social media and websites have falsely claimed that the SSC and HSC exam timetables have been released by the Maharashtra State Board. The Board has not posted anything on its official website.
The Maharashtra State Board has urged parents and students not to believe these rumours and to rely only on official sources for exam-related information. Additionally, the Board has warned that criminal action will be taken against anyone found spreading false information about the exam dates.
