PM Modi Dedicates Asia’s Largest Helicopter Factory To Country

Bengaluru, 6th February 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday dedicated the helicopter factory of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Tumkur to the nation during his visit to Karnataka. During this, PM Modi also unveiled the light utility helicopter in Tumkur itself. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and CM Basavaraj Bommai were present on this occasion.

During this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that in the coming times, India will be the centre of defence manufacturing for the world. It has already started, and today’s ceremony is a big proof of it. This is a milestone in India’s journey of self-reliance in the defence sector. During this, he said that Karnataka means development, peace and prosperity and the future of India.
