Mumbai: Sharad Pawar Meets Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde for Maratha Mandir Event and Art Sector Discussion

Mumbai, 1st June 2023: NCP President Sharad Pawar’s recent visit to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde at Varsha Bungalow sparked speculations and interpretations. However, Pawar himself took to Twitter to clarify the purpose behind his visit. He posted a photo of the meeting and provided detailed information about its purpose.

According to Pawar, “Maratha Mandir, Mumbai is organizing an anniversary function to commemorate the Amrit Mahotsav. As the president of the organization, I met Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde today (June 1) at his official residence in Varsha to extend an invitation to him for this event.”

Furthermore, Pawar revealed, “In addition to this, we discussed the organization of a meeting to address the issues faced by artists and artisans in the Marathi film, theater, and art sectors in Maharashtra. We also discussed inviting organizations from the film, theater, folk art, channels, and other entertainment media to participate in this meeting.”

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also tweeted about the visit, sharing a video of the meeting. He stated, “National President of the Nationalist Congress Party and Member of Parliament Sharad Pawar visited Varsha today for a goodwill meeting.”
