MLC Kapil Patil Launches Samajwadi Ganrajya Party in Mumbai Amidst Distinguished Gathering
Mumbai, 4th March 2024: MLC Kapil Patil inaugurated the Samajwadi Ganrajya Party during a rally held in Dharavi, Mumbai. Notable attendees at the event included Uddhav Thackeray and Varsha Gaikwad. Patil made it clear that his allegiance remained with Maha Vikas Aghadi and the Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).
In his address, Patil highlighted the prevailing atmosphere of apprehension, citing suppressed protests, soaring unemployment rates, escalating inflation, and the distressing condition of farmers and agricultural labourers. Emphasizing their commitment to safeguarding democracy from potential authoritarian threats, he reiterated support for the MVA and INDIA.
In the city of Mumbai, MLC Kapil Patil officially launched the Samajwadi Ganrajya Party during an event held at the Mahatma Phule Education Trust grounds in Dharavi. Distinguished personalities from the MVA, including Uddhav Thackeray (Shiv Sena Chief) and Varsha Gaikwad (Congress Mumbai unit president and Dharavi MLA), graced the occasion.
Patil, formerly affiliated with JD(U), parted ways with the party following Nitish Kumar’s alliance with the BJP in Bihar.
