Maharashtra: Sanjay Rathod’s Ministership Angers Chitra Wagh; She Tweets ‘Ladhenge Jitenge’
Mumbai, 9th August 2022: Chitra Wagh, the leader of Bhartiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Women’s wing, expressed her anger after Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Rathod, who was involved in the Pooja Chavan case controversy, was also sworn in as a minister during the oath ceremony today.
“Rathod’s appointment as a minister is unfortunate,” said Wagh on Twitter.
“It is very unfortunate that former minister Sanjay Rathod has been given the post of minister again,” tweeted Chitra Wagh.
She added, “Even though Sanjay Rathore has become a minister again, I will continue my fight against him.” Chitra Wagh has also mentioned that she has faith in the God of Justice. In this tweet, she has tagged the Twitter handle of the Chief Minister’s Office saying ‘Ladhenge Jitenge’.
Pooja Chavan from Parali in Beed district died by suicide on February 7, 2021, in Pune. Pooja died by jumping from the third floor of the Heaven Park building in Mohammedwadi area of Pune. Two people living with Pooja had admitted her to the hospital. But she died during treatment. Meanwhile, there was a huge uproar in the state over this case.
