Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis’ Daughter Secures 92.6% in Class 10 Exams
Mumbai, 30th April 2025: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’ daughter, Divija Fadnavis, scored 92.6% in her Class 10 board exams, announced by her mother, Amruta Fadnavis, in a social media post coinciding with their move to the official residence ‘Varsha’ on Akshaya Tritiya. The family marked the auspicious day with a housewarming ceremony at the CM’s bungalow, ending months of delay due to Divija’s exam preparations.
Amruta Fadnavis shared the results on X, stating, “Our daughter Divija secured 92.60% in Class X board exams,” expressing gratitude for the dual celebrations. The CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) announced results on Wednesday, with girls outperforming boys nationally. Divija, a Mumbai’s Cathedral School, had delayed the family’s relocation to ‘Varsha’ to avoid disruptions during her exams, as CM Fadnavis previously clarified amid political criticism over the delayed move.
The relocation to ‘Varsha’ follows months of speculation after opposition leader Sanjay Raut alleged ritualistic practices at the residence, claims dismissed by Fadnavis. The CM’s family had temporarily stayed at ‘Sagar’ residence to prioritise Divija’s academic focus.
Divija’s score aligns with CISCE’s 2025 results showing 99.45% pass rates for girls.
