Himachal Pradesh Elections: Congress Leads With More Than 30 Seat Victory

Himachal Pradesh, 8th December 2022: The counting of votes is on for 68 assembly seats in Himachal Pradesh. The Election Commission has announced the results for many seats. According to the Election Commission, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has, so far, won 18 seats in Himachal Pradesh and is leading in seven seats. At the same time, the Congress has won 39 seats and is ahead in one seat. Independent candidates have won three seats.

At the same time, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has submitted his resignation to the Governor. He said, “I have submitted my resignation to the Governor. We will never stop working for the development of the people and will review our defeats.”
