“Glad That Penguins Are Boosting Mumbai’s Revenue,” Says Aditya Thackeray

Mumbai, 26th October 2022: A few years ago, penguins were brought to Rani’s garden in Mumbai on the initiative of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Aditya Thackeray. However, after the arrival of these penguins in Mumbai, the opposition strongly criticized the ruling Shiv Sena in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. But now Aditya Thackeray has expressed his happiness after seeing the crowd coming to see penguins and other animals in Veer Jijamata Bhosle Park in Mumbai.

Aditya Thackeray tweeted, “Today we are proud of the work we have done for the zoo in Veer Jijamata Park under the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. It is a pleasure that the animals of this zoo also contribute to the revenue of Mumbai. Citizens are flocking especially to see the penguins and thereby increasing the revenue of Mumbai.’’

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, 25 thousand citizens attended to see the animals in Veer Jijamata Park. This generated more than 9 lakhs in a single day.
