Delhi Liquor Scam: Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh’s Judicial Custody Extended, Sarvesh Mishra Granted Interim Bail
New Delhi, 10th January 2024: In a recent development, the Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, who are accused in the Delhi liquor scam case.
Their custody has been extended until January 20. However, the court has granted interim bail to Sarvesh Mishra, another co-accused in the same case, with instructions to apply for regular bail.
Notably, Sarvesh Mishra was unable to appear before the court due to his father’s illness. Mishra’s advocate informed the court that his father requires a bone marrow transplant and is currently hospitalised in Gurugram.
Considering the circumstances, the court decided to grant interim bail to Sarvesh Mishra and urged him to pursue regular bail once the situation allows.
