CM Devendra Fadnavis Hails Operation Sindoor as “Proud Day for Every Indian,” Praises Armed Forces and PM Modi
Mumbai, 7th May 2025: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has hailed Operation Sindoor, India’s air strikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, as a moment of national pride and a decisive response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Reacting to the operation, Fadnavis stated, “Today is a proud day for every Indian. The Indian Air Force has destroyed nine terrorist bases. This operation was fully recorded, leaving no room for anyone to demand proof. India will not tolerate attacks against us, and we have shown that we will respond appropriately. The name ‘Operation Sindoor’ itself is very meaningful.”
Fadnavis congratulated the Indian armed forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasising that the operation demonstrated India’s resolve and unity in the face of terrorism. He posted on social media, “Jai Hind. Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” reflecting the widespread sense of satisfaction and patriotism across the country. The Chief Minister also highlighted that the operation targeted terror camps responsible for previous attacks, including the masterminds of the Mumbai and Pulwama incidents.
Operation Sindoor, launched in the early hours after the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians, has been widely celebrated as justice for the victims and a strong message to those supporting terrorism. Fadnavis’s reaction echoed the national mood, with leaders and citizens uniting in support of the armed forces’ action.
