Chandrashekhar Bawankule Assesses Election Preparations in Pune District with Lok Sabha Candidates
Pune, 7th April 2024: On Saturday (7th April), Chandrashekhar Bawankule, the BJP’s Maharashtra state president, conducted a comprehensive assessment of the arrangements for the upcoming elections in the four Lok Sabha constituencies of Pune district: Pune, Baramati, Shirur, and Maval. He engaged in discussions with the candidates from each constituency, alongside prominent party members. Bawankule provided valuable guidance to the candidates, actively participating in discussions about the ongoing campaign efforts well into the night.
On Saturday, Bawankule embarked on a tour of Pune, actively participating in multiple party events throughout the day. As the evening descended, he convened a crucial meeting with the core committee of Lok Sabha candidates at the party’s Erandwane office. Among those in attendance were Muralidhar Mohol, the BJP’s candidate for Pune; Sunetra Pawar, representing the Nationalist Congress Party for the Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency; Shrirang Barne, the Shiv Sena candidate for Maval Constituency; and Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, the Nationalist Congress Party candidate for Shirur Lok Sabha Constituency.
The meeting commenced with discussions on campaign strategies for the Lok Sabha Constituencies, starting with Shirur, followed by Maval, Baramati, and concluding with Pune. Bawankule engaged in extensive interactions with the Lok Sabha candidates, the core committee dedicated to their campaigns, and key office bearers. The campaign preparation was meticulously reviewed by the chief office bearers and the 15-member core committee.
Bawankule sought detailed updates on various aspects, including the responsiveness of voters to the campaign, areas requiring intensified efforts, challenges encountered by activists, and the initiatives undertaken by candidates to establish personal connections with voters. This thorough assessment aimed to ensure a well-coordinated and effective campaign strategy tailored to the specific needs of each constituency.
