AAP’s Sunderkand Path: Owaisi Accuses Party of Strengthening Hindutva Agenda

New Delhi, 16th January 2024: The Aam Aadmi Party’s announcement of organizing the Sunderkand Path has drawn criticism from AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, who accuses the party of endorsing the Hindutva agenda.

As political tensions escalate in anticipation of the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, key players such as Congress, TMC, and Shiv Sena (UBT) have opted not to participate in the event scheduled for January 22. The Aam Aadmi Party’s position remains uncertain, with its leaders yet to provide a direct response.

In the face of criticism, the Aam Aadmi Party has revealed plans for the Sunderkand Path in Delhi’s assembly constituencies on Tuesdays. Owaisi voiced his discontent, asserting that the party’s decision aligns with the Hindutva agenda, branding AAP as a ‘small recharge of RSS’ on social media.

Owaisi questioned the educational value of the Sunderkand Path and accused the Aam Aadmi Party of evading justice while supporting the Sangh’s agenda. Delhi Minister and AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj dismissed Owaisi’s objections, expressing that no political party should object to a positive program like the Sunderkand Path.

Meanwhile, as preparations for the Ram Lalla consecration progress, Congress defends its decision to abstain, labeling the event as orchestrated by the BJP and RSS.
