Bjp Appoints Rajnath Singh to Head Manifesto Committee for Lok Sabha Elections
New Delhi, March 30, 2024 – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the formation of its manifesto committee for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with Rajnath Singh appointed as the chairman. Nirmala Sitharaman has been named the coordinator of the committee. The committee comprises 27 members from various states, including prominent leaders who recently joined BJP from other parties.
In the committee, Piyush Goyal from Maharashtra has been appointed as the co-coordinator. Additionally, Arjun Munda, Bhupender Yadav, and Arjun Ram Meghwal are among the members. Anil Antony, son of former Congress Minister AK Antony, who recently switched to BJP, has also been included in the committee. Ravi Shankar Prasad and Sushil Modi have been appointed as members from Bihar. Moreover, OP Dhankar and Manjinder Singh Sirsa have also been included in the committee.
The appointment of Rajnath Singh, along with the diverse composition of the committee, signifies BJP’s strategic approach towards the upcoming elections.
