Tesla’s India Dream: Elon Musk Meets PM Modi, Vows To Invest
New York(USA), 21st June 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting with Tesla CEO Elon Musk in New York, where they engaged in multifaceted discussions on various topics, including energy and spirituality. Following the meeting, Elon Musk expressed his satisfaction with the conversation and revealed his plans to visit India in the coming year.
Elon Musk described the discussion with PM Modi as excellent and stated, “It was an honor to meet again.” He emphasized India’s immense potential, surpassing that of any other large country, and expressed his excitement about its future. Furthermore, he expressed his intention to invest in India at the earliest opportunity.
When questioned about Tesla’s plans for investing in India, Elon Musk confidently affirmed, “I am confident that Tesla will be in India and will do so as soon as humanly possible.”He further conveyed his appreciation to the Prime Minister for the invaluable support received and eagerly anticipated an imminent revelation of something of great importance. Musk praised Modi’s dedication to India, stating, “He really cares about India because he is pursuing us to make a significant investment in India.” He concluded by expressing his admiration for Modi as a fan.
During his visit to New York, PM Modi also met with various notable individuals, including author Nicholas Nassim Taleb, Falu Shah, Jeff Smith, Michael Froman, Daniel Russel, Elbridge Colby, Peter Agre, Stephen Klasko, and Chandrika Tandon. Additionally, before departing for Washington DC, PM Modi will lead the International Yoga Day celebrations at the UN headquarters.
