Gorakhpur, A City Known For Crimes Becomes Education Hub: CM Yogi Adityanath
Gorakhpur, 14th January 2023: Today (January 14) at the Gorakhpur Mahotsav’s closing ceremony, CM Yogi Adityanath informed that twenty years ago, Gorakhpur was associated with crime, but in the past six years, it has advanced with a new shine of progress.
He stated that the district had transformed into an inclusive center of faith and progress and given its residents a new identity.
He said, “The district of Gorakhpur has begun a new journey of development, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given it his special blessings. Gorakhpur cannot be left behind in this development trip. The nation is on a new road of growth under his leadership.”
“The area, which was formerly notorious for its crimes, is now identified by four institutions. The sectors of education, health, trade, business, and industries are now converging in Gorakhpur. It has also emerged as a significant venue for filmmaking,” he continued.
