Satara: MLA Jaykumar Gore Injured In Accident Near Phaltan, Admitted To Hospital In Pune
Phaltan, 24th December 2022: Satara district president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and sitting MLA of Maan Khatav Jaykumar Gore’s car met with a terrible accident in Phaltan. Gore was seriously injured in the accident. Three others who were with him at the time of the accident were also injured. He has been admitted to Ruby hospital in Pune for treatment.
Gore had come to Pune from the Nagpur session. From there, while going to his village via Phaltan at 3 am on Saturday, the driver did not understand the turn on the Ban Ganga river bridge near the cemetery in Phaltan and the car overturned and fell into the river.
Four people including Gore, his assistant, bodyguard, and driver were injured in this accident. As soon as MP Ranjitsingh Naik-Nimbalkar was informed about this by Gore through his mobile phone, police and activists came to the accident site.
MLA Gore has been shifted to Pune and others are admitted to a hospital in Baramati. The car lying in the river has been lifted with the help of a crane.
