Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Leads Prayers at Ram Temple on ‘Pratishtha Dwadashi’

Ayodhya, 11th January 2025: Ayodhya is witnessing a surge in devotees and dignitaries in celebration of the first anniversary of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple. Special rituals, including the Mahaabhishek and shringar of Ram Lalla, are being conducted. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the temple to offer prayers on ‘Pratishtha Dwadashi’ and addressed the gathering. Devotees, seen chanting bhajans and shlokas, have gathered in large numbers around the temple. A three-day festival will commence in Ayodhya on Saturday to mark the occasion.

The Ram Temple Trust has organized various cultural and religious events from January 11 to 13 to commemorate the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol. Around 110 VIPs, alongside common citizens who missed last year’s ceremony, have been invited to attend.

Prominent artists, including ‘Folk Queen of India’ Malini Awasthi, playback singer Anuradha Paudwal, and poet Kumar Vishwas, will perform during the event. Ram Katha and Ram Leela performances, along with several religious rituals, will also be featured, as per the temple trust’s schedule.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his wishes on the first anniversary, expressing that the Ram Temple, a symbol of cultural and spiritual heritage, will inspire the realization of a developed India.

On January 11, celebrations will begin with Agnihotra rituals from 8 am to 11 am and 2 pm to 5 pm, followed by chanting of 6 lakh Shri Ram Mantras, Ram Raksha Stotra, and Hanuman Chalisa. Other events, such as Rag Seva, musical recitations, and Ram Katha, will take place throughout the day.
