Veteran Politician and Former CM S M Krishna Hospitalized for Health Check-Up in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, 19th October 2024: S M Krishna, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka and ex-Union Minister, was admitted to Manipal Hospital on Old Airport Road in Bengaluru for a health check-up on Saturday morning.

A statement from the hospital indicates that the 92-year-old politician is currently stable and is expected to be released on Monday.

Earlier this year, in April, S M Krishna was hospitalized in the ICU of a different private facility due to an acute respiratory infection. After being discharged, he sought treatment at Manipal Hospital under Dr. Satyanarayana Mysore.

In May, he was readmitted to the ICU and later moved to a regular ward in July after showing signs of improvement.
