25 Transfers Of Police Officers Took Place After The Shinde-BJP Goverment Came To Power
Mumbai, 21st October 2022: After the formation of the BJP-Shinde government in the state, there have been major changes in the police force. In September, the transfer of IPS officers was observed. There were reports of transfers of several senior IPS officers.
23 senior IPS officers in the state and 25 officers including two in the state police service have been newly appointed. 25 Deputy Commissioners of Police and Superintendents of Police have been transferred to different places across the state. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued an order in this regard on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner of Mumbai Police Nilotpal has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Gadchiroli. While Deputy Commissioner of Mumbai Police Shrikrishna Kokate was transferred to the post of Superintendent of Police Nanded. Ravindra Singh Pardeshi of the Bombay State Intelligence Department has been transferred as Superintendent of Police, Chandrapur. Also, Thane City Deputy Commissioner of Police Laxmikant Patil has been transferred to the post of Principal at Nagpur Police Training Centre. Shrikant Paropkari, who is currently holding this post, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Thane City Police. Assistant to Governor Singuri Anand has been transferred to Superintendent of Police, Nagpur (Rural). Parag Manere, who is awaiting appointment, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner in the Special Security Department.
According to this new appointment order, Mohit Kumar Garg, Rajendra Dabhade, Dixit Kumar Gedam, Ajay Kumar Bansal, Abhinav Deshmukh, Tejashwi Satpute, Manoj Patil, Pravin Munde, Jayant Meena, Rakesh Kalasagar, P.P. Shewale, Arvind Chawria, Dilip Patil-Bhujbal, G. Bhapose officers Sridhar, Arvind Salve, Prashant Holkar, Vishwa Pansare, Pravin Patil and Vijaykumar Magar, and Nikesh Khatmode of the State Police Service have also been transferred and their new posting orders will be issued separately soon, the Ministry of Home Affairs has clarified.
According to the transfer order issued by the Home Ministry, Dhananjaya Kulkarni’s Ratnagiri, Pawan Bansod’s Sindhudurg, Basavaraj Teli’s Sangli, Sheikh Aslam’s Satara, Ankit Goyal’s Pune Gramin, Shirish Sardeshpande’s Solapur Gramin, Rakesh Ola’s Ahmednagar, M. Rajkumar’s Jalgaon, Ragasudha R. His Parbhani, Sandeep Singh Gill has been posted at Hingoli. Srikrishna Kokate’s Nanded, Somay Vinayak Munde’s Latur, Sarang D. Awad’s Buldhana, Gaurav Singh’s Yavatmal, Sandeep Ghuge’s Akola, Rabindra Singh S. Pardeshi has been posted as Chandrapur, Nurul Hasan Wardha, Nikhil Pingle Gondia, Nilotpal Gadchiroli, Sanjay Barkund Dhule, Sachin Patil as Superintendent of Police Aurangabad and Singuri Anand as Superintendent of Police Nagpur Rural.
