Pune: Mahayuti to Benefit from Raj Thackeray’s Endorsement – Ajit Pawar

Pune, 11th April 2024: Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar paid tribute to Mahatma Phule on his birth anniversary at Phulewada today. Later, during a media interaction, he spoke about Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray’s unconditional support for the Mahayuti.

Addressing the ongoing disputes within the Mahayuti regarding specific seats, Pawar acknowledged tensions over the NCP’s interest in the Satara and Nashik seats. However, he reassured the public that these disputes would be resolved amicably, stating that “everything will be fine” in both Satara and Nashik. He noted that these elections are scheduled for a later phase, and the application process has not yet begun. Applications for the elections in Nashik or Konkan will be completed in the final stages of the election cycle. He highlighted that discussions with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis would take place today to determine the appropriate course of action.

Pawar also spoke about Raj Thackeray’s role, noting his support for the Mahayut. He praised Thackeray’s recognition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s work across the country and his decision to offer unconditional support to the Mahayuti. Pawar stated that the Mahayuti would undoubtedly benefit from Thackeray’s support and noted that Thackeray’s leadership style is distinct.
