“Sanjay Raut Is Half Shiv Sainik And Half NCP,” Says Deepak Kesarkar
Mumbai, 20th July 2022: Amidst the political tension in Maharashtra, Deepak Kesarkar, spokesperson of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s pro-Shiv Sena faction, has taken a dig against Sanjay Raut by calling him half Shiv Sainik and half NCP.
Deepak Kesarkar said this after attending Sai Baba’s aarti on Wednesday. Talking about the ongoing court case, he said that in the end truth will prevail.
He said, “We have never claimed Matoshree and Shiv Sena Bhavan. He said that our honour lies in associating ourselves with Balasaheb Thackeray. It is not at all that I should teach Balasaheb’s thoughts to Shiv Sainiks, but Uddhav Thackeray must maintain the greatness of Matoshree.”
He added, “Sometimes we must pay attention to the chaos around us.No one dared to come between Balasaheb. Balasaheb believed that even if I am alone, I will not go with the Congress. We are moving forward with that. Should we lean towards Congress? That is the biggest question.”
Deepak Kesarkar said, “Sanjay Raut is fifty per cent of Shiv Sena and fifty per cent of NCP. Merely loving Balasaheb does not mean that he becomes a Shiv Sainik.”
“I was in NCP, then I resigned. Sharad Pawar is a great leader and I have never criticized him. But Jitendra Awhad tried to keep me away from Pawar, in the same way, Sanjay Raut is showing his ability,” he said.
