PM Modi Inaugurates Three National Institutes Of AYUSH
Goa, 11th December 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated three new National AYUSH Institutes in the country on Sunday (11th December), including the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) Goa, National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM) Ghaziabad, and National Institute of Homeopathy (NIH) Delhi.
While addressing the World Ayurveda Congress, PM Modi said, “Some people think that Ayurveda is only for treatment, but its beauty is also that it teaches us how to live life. Ayurveda teaches us that, like hardware-software, the body and mind should also remain healthy together; they should be coordinated.” PM Modi said that Yoga and Ayurveda, considered neglected earlier, have become a new hope for humanity today. “We had the results of Ayurveda as well as the effects, but we were lagging in terms of evidence. Therefore, today we have to do the documentation of Data Based Evidence,” he explained.
He said that the resolution of the welfare of the world with its knowledge, science and cultural experience is the big goal of Amrit Kaal; Ayurveda is an effective medium for this.
