PM Modi Criticizes Congress, Accuses States of Funding “Royal” Family During Akola Rally
Akola, 9th November 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress party during his rally in Akola on Saturday, accusing states like Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, and Karnataka of becoming financial sources for a “royal” family. He stated that the opposition’s Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition represents nothing but corruption and massive financial scams. Continuing his campaign, PM Modi, who had earlier addressed rallies in Dhule and Nashik, called on Dalits, tribals, and OBCs to stay united under the slogan “Ek hai toh safe hai.”
In response to a question about why PM Modi was not invited to hold a rally in Baramati to support Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, NCP chief Pawar explained that leaders of Modi’s stature typically avoid holding rallies in smaller places, and thus Modi would not be visiting Baramati. Ajit Pawar is contesting the upcoming state assembly elections from this constituency.
Meanwhile, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, speaking in Nagpur, accused BJP leaders of deflecting public attention from critical issues by making provocative speeches and spreading falsehoods. Additionally, in an exclusive interview with Manoj CG, All India Congress Committee’s Maharashtra in-charge Ramesh Chennithala shared his views on why Maharashtra is not like Haryana, the potential impact of the “save the Constitution” narrative in the upcoming assembly elections, and the direct competition with the BJP.
