Mumbai: Visitors Need To Know History, Says Deputy CM Fadnavis During Inauguration Of Multimedia Light And Sound Show

Mumbai, 1st March 2023: “Those who do not know their history have a present, but no future. This is why we are doing the work of conveying our history, struggle, and entire journey to society through various activities. Many people visit the ‘Gateway of India’ architecture. People should not only see this gate, but they should be enlightened to understand history. As the years of independence progressed, people’s attitudes also changed,” Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis opined when speaking about the Multimedia Light and Sound Show.

The Multimedia Light and Sound Show, jointly organized by the Maharashtra Tourism Department, Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Indian Oil Corporation Limited, was inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Minister on Tuesday, 28th February, at 8 pm at the Gateway of India. The Indian Navy Band started the program by presenting the National Anthem and Maharashtra Geet. Famous dancer Shimak Dawar and colleagues also performed a patriotic dance.
