MLA Sudhir Tambe Suspended From Congress
Mumbai, 16th January 2023: MLA Sudhir Tambe, who put his son in the election field without filling out the nomination form, has been suspended from Congress despite being nominated by the Nashik Divisional Graduate Constituency of the Vidhan Parishad. At the same time, the Mahavikas Aghadi has prepared to support the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in this election.
Shiv Sena will support the candidate fielded by BJP in the Nashik constituency, and Congress will contest the Nagpur seat. The Mahavikas Aghadi has planned a strategy to defeat Satyajit Tambe in Nashik.
In the elections for the five seats of the Vidhan Parishad, the Amravati and Nashik graduate constituencies were left to the Congress in the allocation of seats in the Maha Vikas Aghadi. In Nashik, the current MLA Sudhir Tambe was given candidature, but Tambe himself filed an application as an independent of his son and former president of the State Youth Congress, Satyajit Tambe, and got the Congress panchayat. As this seat was left to Congress, none of the candidates from Shiv Sena and NCP in the alliance filed their applications. So Congress has lost this rightful place, and now the question has arisen as to what to do next.
Nana Patole has alleged that BJP is behind the Tambe father-son attack on the party in the Nashik constituency. State President Chandrasekhar Bawankule said that Tambe also sought public support from BJP, and the party will consider it. At the same time, BJP’s Shubhangi Patil was made to fill out the nomination form by the party, but he was not officially nominated. Based on that, Mahavikas Aghadi has decided to launch a new strategy. It is understood that such a discussion took place in the night among the leading leaders.
Shiv Sena will support Shubhangi Patil, who was not officially nominated by BJP in Nashik Constituency but filed as an independent, and in return, Congress will contest the Nagpur seat instead of Shiv Sena. In Nashik, by supporting Shubhangi Patil, the strategy has been decided to create a dilemma for the copper fathers and give support to the BJP. Nana Patole has announced that we will announce the decision in this regard tomorrow. He has also claimed that the Mahavikas Aghadi will win the seat.
The Disciplinary Committee of the All India Congress Committee has suspended MLA Sudhir Tambe from the party pending an inquiry. After the investigation, further final action will be taken against Tambe. Tambe has also said he will announce his position on 18th January regarding all these developments.
