Heeraben Modi Passes Away At Age 100
Ahmedabad, 30th December 2022: Heeraben Modi, the mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, passed away today, at the age of 100, at the U N Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center in Ahmedabad. She passed away at around 3.30 am. She was hospitalised earlier this week as a result of health problems.
Funeral ceremonies for Heeraben Modi were conducted at a crematorium in Gandhinagar. PM Modi paid his respects by lighting the funeral pyre for his mother and bid her goodbye with folded hands. Heeraben was bid a loving farewell by PM Modi, his brother Somabhai, and other family members.
