Headline: Varun Gandhi’s Ticket Cut in Lok Sabha Elections, Congress Extends Invitation Amid BJP Turmoil

New Delhi, 26th March 2024: In a surprising turn of events, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided not to field three-time Member of Parliament Varun Gandhi in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for the Pilibhit constituency. Instead, Jitin Prasad, a minister in the Yogi government, has been nominated as the BJP candidate.

The decision has sparked speculation and unrest within the BJP ranks, with senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary seizing the opportunity to extend an invitation to Varun Gandhi to join the Congress party. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary highlighted Varun Gandhi’s education and clean image, emphasizing his potential as a valuable addition to the Congress.

Voting for the Pilibhit Lok Sabha seat is scheduled for the first phase on April 19th, with the nomination process already underway. BSP has declared Anees Ahmed Khan Phool Babu as its candidate, while Bhagwat Saran Gangwar will represent the SP in the upcoming elections.

As the political landscape continues to evolve, all eyes remain on Varun Gandhi’s next move and whether he will accept the Congress’s offer amidst the shifting dynamics in Uttar Pradesh politics.
