Fadnavis Targets Thackeray Faction, Raut Replies

Mumbai, 16th November 2022: In Maharashtra, the tussle between BJP and Shiv Sena leaders have started increasing again. This time, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut are face-to-face. Fadnavis said he has taken revenge on all those who cheated him. Responding to this, Sanjay Raut said that this is not the culture of Maharashtra. Sanjay Raut also said it is unfortunate that a man of Fadnavis’ stature has stooped to power.

Rawat said that this is not a tradition. Sanjay Rawat said that politics in Maharashtra is not done with a sense of revenge. If no tradition is being established then it is against the culture of Maharashtra. To date, no one has used the word revenge in Maharashtra politics. Significantly, an interview with Fadnavis was aired on Tuesday, in which he did not directly name Uddhav Thackeray but said that if someone cheats on him, he will take revenge. He said that he has taken his revenge. It is believed that the revenge he is talking about is the split of Shiv Sena and making Eknath Shinde the Chief Minister. Significantly, Uddhav trusted Shinde.

Fadnavis said that people enjoy power with you, live with you for 24 hours, win elections with you, and then one day backstab you to stay in politics. Such people must be given a lesson, otherwise, they will not be able to survive in politics. He further said that you should be good in politics, but if someone tries to take advantage of your goodness and cheat you, then such people must be shown their place.
