Congress is Being Deceitful: Allegation by Ali Daruwala

Pune, 17th June 2024: ‘The increase in diesel and petrol prices in Karnataka has exposed the deceit of Congress. Congress always promises that inflation will decrease under their rule, but this promise is never kept,’ alleged BJP spokesperson Ali Daruwala. He made this allegation in a press note released in Pune today.

The contradiction between Congress’s propaganda and their actual behavior has been highlighted by this incident. The reality became evident to the voters after the Lok Sabha elections. Citizens of Karnataka were already paying higher electricity charges and now, petrol and diesel are Rs. 3 more expensive compared to BJP-ruled states like Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Congress promised to give many things for free to Indians, but they never mentioned where they would get the funds to provide Rs. 8500 monthly to all women below the poverty line. The reality is that one cannot give freebies to one voter without taking money from another voter’s pocket. Congress does not give anything for free and is deceitful about it, therefore voters should remain vigilant, Daruwala stated in the press note.
