The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made serious allegations against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal after LG VK Saxena ordered an inquiry into the electricity subsidy case. Alleging a scam, BJP has said that the commission money reached the CM of Delhi. BJP has asked many questions to the Delhi government. BJP said that Kejriwal used to call discom companies thieves, but now he himself is stealing. In 2016, the cabinet decided to conduct an audit every year. Delhi’s opposition party said that the CM has put his special men on the board so that they can help the scam. The biggest role in the scam is of Jasmin Shah who is close to Kejriwal.
BJP spokesperson Syed Zafar Islam said, “In 2013, Kejriwal used to say that we will change these companies because they are thieves. But what was the compulsion today, Kejriwal, you are stealing yourself by colluding with these companies. Anil Ambani holds a 51 percent stake in BRPL and BIPL and the Delhi government holds 49 percent. The Delhi government owed 21250 crores to these two companies. The third company, Tata, has made the full payment. Kejriwal replaced representatives of the Delhi government on the board, he removed retired officers, and kept his special people so that it would be easy to scam.
BJP said that taking the names of Jasmine Shah, ND Gupta, Umesh Tyagi, and Jaish Deshwal, accused the Kejriwal government. Zafar Islam said that the Kejriwal government did not get the audit done even once because if the audit had been done, all the things would have come to the fore. Zafar Islam said, “Kejriwal ignored the decision of his own cabinet, which was taken in 2016. It was the decision of that cabinet that every year the discoms will be audited so that there is no scam taking place there, but the audit was not done.
