After Manish Sisodia, Now KCR’s Daughter Kavita Will Be Arrested, Claims BJP Leader Vivek
Tirupati, 27th February 2023: A day after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the Delhi Excise Policy case, Telangana BJP leader Vivek on Monday claimed that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC and Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s daughter Kavita will also be probed and be “arrested soon” by the agency.
BJP leader Vivek said there are chances of some more arrests in the liquor scam. Kavita will also be arrested soon. Vivek alleged that Kavita had given Rs 150 crore to the Aam Aadmi Party during the Punjab and Gujarat elections. Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate had named Kavita in its chargesheet in the Delhi Excise Policy case, accusing her of holding a 65 per cent stake in a liquor company.
Alleging corruption in the KCR-led BRS government, Vivek said the ruling party would lose its existence in Telangana. Vivek said that when the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party started, it did not have any funds. Vivek further said that now the party has more accumulated capital than all the political parties in the country.
Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on Sunday in the ongoing investigation of a case related to alleged irregularities in the formulation and implementation of excise policy. However, the AAP says that it is all a conspiracy by the BJP sitting at the Center, and Sisodia has been arrested in a false case.
