Hema Malini’s Wealth Surges to Rs 298 Crore, Revealed in Nomination Affidavit

Mathura, 6 April 2024: BJP candidate Hema Malini’s assets have witnessed a remarkable surge of Rs 49 crore over the past five years, as disclosed in her nomination affidavit. The Mathura MP, who has served two terms in parliament, disclosed her assets, which total Rs 298 crore, a substantial rise from Rs 249 crore in 2019. Of this, 129 crore rupees’ worth of assets are listed in her name, and Dharmendra, her spouse, owns 169 crore. Furthermore, the affidavit discloses a debt of Rs 1.42 crore associated with Hema Malini. Hema Malini’s financial situation has drawn a lot of attention since she filed her nomination papers.

Dr. Hema, with a PhD, disclosed assets worth approximately 249 crores during the Lok Sabha elections in 2019. Her husband Dharmendra had assets of 135 crores at the time, while her personal assets were estimated to be approximately 114 crores. Five years earlier, in 2014, Hema disclosed assets valued at almost 178 crores during the Lok Sabha elections. At that time, Dharmendra’s assets amounted to an astounding 1 billion 6 crores 55 lakhs, while her personal assets totaled 57.99 crores.

Hema’s passion for jewellery is also evident from the fact that she has pieces worth Rs 3.39 crore. Her assets, which total Rs 113 crore and comprise houses and other property, further attest to her financial savvy. Hema has a debt of Rs 1.42 crore in her name and her husband Dharmendra has a debt of Rs 6.49 crore, proving that even with her considerable fortune, she is not beyond debt.

This increase in wealth highlights Hema Malini’s position as a powerful political figure and her financial standing.
