After landing, he was taken directly to Patiala House Court, where the court granted the NIA an 18-day custody for further investigation. The NIA had initially requested 20-day police custody, but the court granted 18-day custody. Rana will be thoroughly questioned during this period as the agency seeks to unravel crucial details of the attack.
