Shiv Sena District Chief Kundlik Khande Expelled Over Viral Anti-Party Audio Clip

Beed, 29th June 2024: Two days ago, an audio clip featuring Shiv Sena (Shinde group) district chief Kundlik Khande went viral, allegedly showing him working against BJP leader Pankaja Munde during the Lok Sabha elections. Following this incident, Khande has been expelled from his position as district head due to his anti-party activities. Shiv Sena Secretary Sanjay More issued a statement confirming Khande’s removal. The audio clip in question purportedly depicts Khande discussing how Pankaja Munde did not receive support. It also references an incident involving an attack on Dhananjay Munde’s car. Khande faces a registered case related to this matter, alongside a previous case under Section 307 and he was arrested for it few hours ago.

After the viral audio clip, supporters of Pankaja Munde displayed aggressive behaviour. Khande’s office on Jalna Road in Beed City was reportedly attacked with stones by an angry mob. Shiv Sena Secretary Sanjay Bhaurao More elaborated in a letter that, based on the Shiv Sena Disciplinary Committee’s recommendation, Kundalik Khande is being expelled from the Shiv Sena Party for engaging in actions contrary to party directives, as instructed by Shiv Sena Chief Eknath Shinde.

An alleged audio clip involving Kundlik Khande, district chief of Shiv Sena’s Shinde faction in Beed, and Shivraj Bangar of NCP’s Sharad Chandra Pawar, is currently circulating. In this purported clip, Khande confesses to supporting Bajrang Sonawane, a Lok Sabha candidate from Sharad Chandra Pawar’s NCP party. Furthermore, the clip allegedly includes discussions of plans of attack on Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Dhananjay Munde. This audio conversation, recorded before the election results, has now gained significant attention after its circulation.
