Pune: Ajit Pawar’s Proactive Response Secures Relief for Snakebite Victim’s Family in Baramati

Baramati, 5th July 2024: In Baramati, a family experienced the impact of proactive leadership when local leaders are aware of and responsive to community needs. A woman in Baramati taluka was bitten by a snake, resulting in a critical condition. Initially admitted to a hospital in Baramati and later transferred to Pune for treatment, her husband sought urgent assistance from Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister, Pune District Guardian Minister, and Baramati MLA Ajit Pawar.

Upon receiving the plea for help, Ajit Pawar promptly instructed his assistant, Sunil Kumar Musale, to assist the family. Not stopping there, Pawar personally contacted the family to facilitate proposals for aid from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Recognizing the urgency, Ajit Pawar advocated directly to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde during a meeting, resulting in swift approval of special assistance for the family.

However, despite efforts, the woman succumbed to her injuries during treatment. Following her passing, the hospital in Pune presented the family with a bill totalling Rs 6,50,000. Once again, Ajit Pawar intervened through Sunil Kumar Musale, negotiating the bill to a mere Rs 50,000.

Throughout this ordeal, Ajit Pawar and Sunil Kumar Musale stood by the family like elder brothers, providing support not only during the treatment but also in managing the aftermath. The family expressed profound gratitude for their compassionate assistance during such a challenging time.
