Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde Thanks PM Narendra Modi For His Support In Developing Maharashtra
Mumbai, 10th February 2023: Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi has visited Mumbai for the second time in the last 22 days. The Prime Minister flagged off two Vande Bharat Expresses at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT). After some time, he will inaugurate the new campus of Dawoodi Bohra community educational institution. The PM flagged off CSMT-Solapur and CSMT-Shirdi Vande Bharat Express. Along with the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister Narayan Rane, and Union Minister of State Ramdas Athawale were present at the inauguration ceremony of Vande Bharat Express.
Before flagging off the Vande Bharat Express, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde made a short speech. On this occasion, the Chief Minister thanked Narendra Modi. He also thanked the state for providing ample funds in the budget and attending the launch of development projects in Mumbai.
At this time, Eknath Shinde said to the PM, “Our six-seven months’ government was formed in the state only with your blessings. Because of you, the government in the minds of common people came to power. The same government inaugurated the Samriddhi Highway by Balasaheb Thackeray. Now, lakhs of people are availing of this train. Also, Mumbai Metro was inaugurated. Other important projects have also started in the state. Some more projects are waiting for you in the state soon. We will invite you to inaugurate it. Please continue to support us.”
Eknath Shinde said to Modi, “It is your dream to make the country a five trillion economy. Mumbai and Maharashtra will contribute to it. One trillion will be borne by our state.”
