Gujarat Elections: BJP Leads With Record Majority

Gujarat, 8th December 2022: The Bharatiya Janata Party (Bharatiya Janata Party) has achieved a record majority in the initial trends of the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022. The Congress has received lesser success than the previous election. BJP is leading with 156. Congress stands with 17, Aam Aadmi Party with five, and independent contenders with four seats.

Gujarat’s Chief Electoral Officer said on Tuesday that Inspectors and Assistant Election Officers have been appointed for 182 assembly seats in Gujarat. Arrangements have been made by the Election Commission for the counting of votes at 367 places in the state, for which 182 counting inspectors and 494 assistant election officers have been appointed.
