Chandrababu Naidu Sworn in as Andhra Pradesh CM for Fourth Term in PM Modi’s Presence

Amravati, 12th June 2024: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader N. Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance. This marks his fourth term as the state’s CM.

The swearing-in ceremony saw the presence of numerous senior BJP figures, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, JP Nadda, and Nitin Gadkari, among others.

Naidu’s new cabinet consisted of 24 ministers who took the oath alongside him. Of these, 17 are newcomers. The cabinet features three women, eight leaders from backward classes, two from Scheduled Castes, one from a Scheduled Tribe, and one Muslim member.
